I am Erik H. Bakke, a software developer, solution architect, DBA and hardware tinkerer. Originally from Norway, I have lived in Australia since early 2004.
I have been developing software since 1982 with experience from a wide range of platforms, mostly Windows and Linux/Unix environments. Since 2000, I have been working mainly with Dynamics AX and Microsoft SQL Server, but I still develop in C++ and C# as well. I specialise in performance optimisation of SQL Server and Dynamics AX, and I hope to share some of my experience here.
In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with hardware projects, particularly Arduino compatibles. Optimisation and power efficiency is important to me even there, so expect to see some of that, too.
